Voluntary community service with newly-formed women's farming Co-op
(Sponsored by Senderos Esperanza, Sustainable Futures and Montana Verde Ecological Center)

* Work with the women to install a solar water system and/or methane biodigester for the women’s collective farm

* Learn about the local community while staying in an environmental education lodge

* Views of the highest mountain in Central America and the Pacific Ocean

* Visit: a traditional trapiche to process sugar cane; hot springs; indigenous carvings; chocolate making; native tree nursery; and more (see itinerary)

* $900 pays all meals, accommodation and transportation costs within Costa Rica

* All net proceeds contribute to project costs
